The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's general ledger, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and preparing monthly reports.
The successful candidate will also play a critical role in our year-end close process, demonstrating a firm understanding of financials and cell formatting.

Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
Prepare and record journal entries, making sure that all entries are properly coded and classified.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing detailed insights into the company's financial performance.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that all payments are made on time and that all outstanding receivables are collected.
Reconcile all accounts on a regular basis, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
Assist with the year-end close process, preparing all necessary documentation and ensuring that all financial records are in order.
Work with the finance team to develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Use cell formatting techniques to present financial data in a clear and understandable manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Engineering industry.
Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly with cell formatting techniques.
Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.
).
Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
Experience with accounting software and databases.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
