50 an hour 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago Duties - Greet and check-in clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries - Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed - Maintain accurate records of client information, medical history, and treatments - Process payments and handle financial transactions - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area Requirements - Previous experience working as a veterinary receptionist or in a similar customer service role is preferred - Knowledge of equine care and handling is a plus - Strong animal handling skills, including experience with various species, are required - Knowledge of animal husbandry practices is necessary - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in computer systems and software for scheduling, record keeping, and billing Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
